Around fifty people attended the introductory debate in Bern, and ten organisations presented their projects with a view to common quality criteria. These presentations clearly demonstrated the wide range of experience within the RECI on the subject of quality in education\/training in international cooperation.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

A packed programme of presentations and discussions awaited the many members present, as well as representatives of RECI’s partner organisations and services. Presentations of their projects by ten member organisations clearly illustrated the continuum of education, with a broad spectrum ranging from early childhood education to adult education, and were discussed from the perspective of common quality criteria. The debate was introduced by contributions from the SDC and the Institute for International Cooperation in Education of the University of Applied Sciences Zug (RECI member). The many contributions demonstrated the need to open up the discussion within the network and not to shy away from controversy. The debate will continue in greater depth at the RECI Thematic Day on 6 December 2016. A detailed report to be published here shortly will serve as a basis.<\/p>\n
